Chrisland schools breaks silence over 12-year-old student’s death

The management of Chrisland schools has provided an explanation into the demiseof one of its student, 12 year old Whitney Adeniran.
The father of the deceased, Michael Adeniran, had at the weekend used social media to demand for justice over his daughter’s death. He claimed his daughter had been electrocuted, citing negligence of the school.
However in its reaction, Chrisland confirmed the student slumped in “public view and not under any hidden circumstances,” adding that she was rushed to the nearest medical facility for first aid.
While calling for caution and a scientific verification of the underlying cause of their daughter’s death before her burial, the school’s management insists that it is in its records that the victim had complained about a not-too-buoyant health and her parents were immediately contacted.
In the meantime, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed that the Government has ordered the shutdown of Chrisland International School from today Monday pending the outcome of the investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of the pupil.
