Former Miss Universe Nigeria Chidimma Adetshina has spoken about her ongoing deportation case in South Africa after a court postponed proceedings to February 27, 2027.

Anti-immigration group Operation Dudula confronted her outside the Cape Town Regional Court, chanting “Chidimma, go home” and displaying placards calling for her deportation.

Adetshina reportedly rushed into the courthouse to avoid the protesters and later left with relatives as tensions outside the building increased.

The latest court decision allows her to remain in South Africa while she challenges the deportation process.

The court also declined to confirm her detention while the High Court reviews the decision to revoke her South African citizenship.
