Renowned Nollywood actor, Charles Inojie, has announced the conclusion of the popular family show, The Johnsons.

Inojie shared the news via his Instagram page yesterday, and praised the followers of the show for their support.

He also noted that the show has been on for 13 years and during that time it has become Africa’s most-watched show on television. In 2023, it was nominated for the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for Best Original Comedy Series.

The announcement of the show’s cancellation comes almost two years after the death of Ada Ameh at 48 who played Mrs Johnson, wife to Mr Johnson.
