The Chairman House of Reps Ad-Hoc Committee on International Boundary Dispute between NIGERIA and CAMEROON, Hon. Benni Lar says there is the need to know the “state of the presence” of Security Agencies in the nation’s border.
Speaking at the ongoing investigative hearing on the boundary disputes yesterday in Abuja, Hon. Lar noted that the hearing has become important due to incessant incursion into the nation’s territory by terrorists from neighbouring Cameroun.
Correspondent Nathan Williams reports that in his submissions, the director general of the National Boundary Commission, Adamu Adaji had blamed the disagreements by members in the disputed territories to lack of understanding of international laws.
