Canada, China and Mexico in retaliatory Trade War with US after Donald Trump’s planned Tariffs

Mexico has rejected claims by US President Donald Trump that its government has close relations with criminal organizations.

Mexican President, Claudia Sheinbaum “categorically rejected” Trump’s claims, and confirmed she will be unveiling her country’s plans to retaliate against US-imposed trade tariffs on Monday morning.

Trump has announced that a tax of 25% on Canadian and Mexican imports, as well as an additional 10% tax on Chinese goods, will come into force from tomorrow Tuesday.

Canada and Mexico are already preparing retaliatory tariffs on US goods, while China says it will implement “corresponding countermeasures”, in addition to filing a lawsuit with the World Trade Organization
