Nigerian singer Brymo has reignited his long-running feud with Burna Boy, alleging that the Grammy-winning artiste bought his Grammy Award and insisting he has no intention of ending their dispute.

Speaking in an interview with NotJustOkay, Brymo said Burna Boy offended him and that he intends to “have his pound of flesh” as their disagreement continues. He also claimed he would never mention Burna Boy in his songs because he does not consider him important enough.

Brymo further alleged that Burna Boy purchased his Grammy and claimed he was once offered the chance to buy a BET Award for $10,000, although he provided no evidence to support the claims.

The latest remarks mark another escalation in a feud that began in 2023, when Brymo accused Burna Boy of sampling songs from his unreleased project, Macabre, in tracks from the album I Told Them. He also previously accused the singer of sending people to attack him, allegations Burna Boy has not publicly addressed.

Brymo maintained that he does not consider Burna Boy to be on his level, despite the singer’s international success, and suggested their dispute is far from over.

Burna Boy has yet to respond publicly to Brymo’s latest allegations.
