US President, Joe Biden, will meet with President-elect Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday November 13, with the pair expected to discuss to top priorities for domestic and foreign policy.
The 78-year-old Trump sealed a historic comeback to the presidency in the November 5 vote and is expected to abandon many of Biden’s signature policies, especially with the economy and inflation which topped concerns of voters during the election.
Meanwhile, Trump has confirmed that former Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will not be asked to join his administration.
Trump is meeting with potential candidates to serve in his administration before his Jan. 20 inauguration as president. Last Friday he met with prominent investor Scott Bessent, who is a potential U.S. Treasury Secretary nominee.
