The All Progressives Congress (APC) has pushed back against claims by Peter Obi that President Bola Tinubu lacks the capacity to lead Nigeria, insisting that the President remains fully engaged in governance and capable of handling the demands of office.

APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda dismissed the criticism, stating that Tinubu continues to maintain a busy work schedule and remains actively involved in the affairs of government.

The response follows Obi’s recent comments questioning the administration’s ability to tackle insecurity, poverty, hunger and other economic challenges facing the country.

While Obi argued that Nigeria needs leadership capable of addressing its growing problems, the APC maintained that Tinubu remains focused on governance and retains the confidence of many Nigerians.
