Another 129 Nigerians Arrives Abuja from Sudan

Another Batch of 129 Nigerians Fleeing Sudan arrived Abuja yesterday, bringing to a total of 1,600 Nigerians evacuated and returned to Nigeria from Sudan.

The returnees landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, on board the Tarco Airlines from Port Sudan, as confirmed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) in a statement. Comprising 124 adults and five infants, they were received by officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
