AFCON U-20: Flying Eagles win Group Stage Fair Play Award

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria won the Total CAF U-20 group stage Fair Play award.

This was announced on the CAF U-20 AFCON verified Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, the Flying Eagles have continued preparations for their quarter-final duel against Uganda today Thursday at the ongoing Africa U20 Cup of Nations

Head coach Isah Ladan Bosso says he believes his men will win the fixture and reach the FIFA U20 World Cup finals scheduled for Indonesia, 20th May – 11th June.

The coach said while the mission of the team remains bagging the World Cup ticket, they are also eyeing the trophy.

Nigeria play Uganda at the 22,000 -capacity Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia from 6pm Nigeria time on Thursday.
