The draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will take place in Rabat, Morocco, today Monday, 27 January.
Super Eagles’ Head Coach Éric Sékou Chelle and Team Administrator, Dayo Enebi Achor, alongside the Chairman of NFF Technical and Development Committee, Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa will attend the ceremony.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles are in Pot 1, which means they will avoid heavyweights like Egypt, current champions Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Algeria, and hosts Morocco.
However, the Eagles could still face some tough opponents in the group stage.
The Confederation of African Football , CAF, has unveiled the official logo for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Inspired by Moroccan ‘’zellij’’, a timeless mosaic art form, the tournament logo celebrates the heritage and unity of the African continent.
Just as zellij pieces are meticulously crafted and assembled to form designs, the logo is laces with vibrant colors; gold for achievement, green for unity, red for resilience and blue for boundless potential, embodying the spirit of African football, strength of the players and the passion of the fans.
The AFCON 2025 competition will run from December 21 , 2025 to January 18, 2026.
